Developing a New Habit

We all know that changing habits that don't serve us can be easier said than done. We've all heard different methods, hacks, strategies, and number of days it takes a person to improve healthy habits and it does all come to consistency and mindset. So, how many days does it take to develop a new habit?

Research by University College London concluded that the median amount of time necessary to build a new habit is 66 days.

The science says it takes 66 days to deconstruct and overcome challenging past behaviors, install a solid foundation of new habits start to build, and finally integrate, where your new habit(s) become automatic.

The only difference between those we deem wildly successful and those that are average is consistency over time. Doing the things we know we should do even when you don't want to. That level of grit is what sets "successful" people apart from the average.

The life you've always wanted is on the other side of discomfort.

What's one habit you'd like to overcome?
