Wellth Living Academy + Costa Rica
In 2023, as fate would have it, I became a founding member of Alianza para el Desarrollo Comunitario (ADC), a non-profit designed to be a locally led organization in Nosara, Costa Rica.
The organization focuses on addressing immediate priorities within the community, as well as other longer-term priorities, such as political representation and financial autonomy. Through collective action, we intend to shift the systemic roots of inequalities while also addressing the most pressing immediate problems such as education, living wage, affordable housing, public safety and environmental justice.
The most recent initiative conducted by ADC was the Nosara Census 2024 project. The data collected from this project will provide the community with the proper information needed to address the communities most pressing issues.

One of the largest areas of concern within Nosara is the lack of inclusion. As more and more extranjeros move into the area, the gap between Costa Rican's and extranjeros grows wider. The solution. Bring people together!
The Wellth Living Academy Leadership Program is designed to create heart-centered, conscious leaders and bring about social impact and change. For an ever-so-present need within a community, it is with great pleasure that we bring the Wellth Living Academy Leadership Program to the people of Nosara, Costa Rica.
This 12-month program will be our first in-person, multi-facilitator, bilingual cohort teaching on our 9 Elements of Wellth and we are very excited for this opportunity to create inclusion, develop leaders and bring multiple cultures together with a shared vision of making an impact in their lives and in the lives of the people around them.
We are asking our Wellth Living Community for support in bringing this invaluable program to life. Not only will this program transform the future of a divided community, but it is also our intention that this program create a ripple effect into other areas of the world, and that this program be the first of many more Wellth Living programs to bring to Nosara, Costa Rica and beyond.
